On September 12th, TJ was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that has completely changed life for his family. Thankfully, he is still with us — but his injuries have made it impossible for him to work right now.

Unfortunately, TJ’s job does not offer paid time off or vacation pay, so being out of work has left a huge financial strain on them. They are in the process of trying to get short-term disability figured out, but as many of you know, that can take time and isn’t always guaranteed.

In the meantime, Heather is doing everything she can — working as many hours as possible and even picking up a third job — but it’s still been very difficult to make ends meet with the sudden loss of income and extra medical and household expenses.

They are not ones to ask for help, but right now they could really use it. Every little bit will go directly toward bills, groceries, and household expenses while TJ recovers and they get back on our feet.
